Golf Ball Mania

The Pewitt Education Foundation is sponsoring a Community Appreciation Day and "Golf Ball Mania", both to be held on August 14, 2010 at the Pewitt Alumni Center.

 

The Community Appreciation Day runs from 2 til 4 PM. Everyone is invited to attend and refreshments will be served. This is to show appreciation for the Pewitt community for supporting the various activities the Pewitt Education Foundation undertakes in supporting Pewitt School.

 

The "Golf Ball Mania" is a fund raiser for the Foundation and money raised from this effort will be split with 45% going to the endowment fund, 45% being returned to teachers and students via grants and 10% will go toward expenses incurred. Sponsor a golf ball for $5.00 or six balls for $25.00 and you may win $500 if your golf ball is the closest to the hole. $300 goes to the second closest ball and $200 to the third closest ball to the hole. The golf ball drop will be held at 3 PM in front of the Alumni Center. 

 

Tickets will be available at the Pewitt Education Foundation booth at the Naples Watermelon Festival on Saturday, July 24. Tickets are also available at area banks and from Foundation board members.

Survivor 5

The Pewitt Education Foundation (PEF) presents "Survivor 5"  on October 23, 2010, a fund raising event. This is our fifth year for "Survivor" and it continues being our biggest money raiser for the support to Pewitt Schools.

 

This years "Survivor" will be conducted as in the past. Only 300 tickets will be available for a donation of $100 each. This donation could win you $10,000 for being the "Survivor" (being the 300th ticket drawn), $2,500 for being the 299th ticket drawn, and $1,000 for being the 298th ticket drawn. Fifteen $100 prizes will be awarded during the drawing for a total giveaway of $15,000. All prizes will be awarded in cash. Two barbeque dinners will be given for each $100 donated.

 

Tickets will be available at the Naples Watermelon Festival on July 24 at the PEF booth and at area banks and from PEF board members.
